WriMo House Cup 2026
Five Houses. Thousands of Words. Endless Stories.
Sapphire Kestrels
10,000 Words
Small in stature, fierce in spirit.Swift and keen-eyed, these little hunters strike well above their weight with deadly precision. The Sapphire Kestrels prove that quantity isn’t everything. Even modest beginnings can carry the force of mighty ambitions.

Emerald Foxes
25,000 Words
Adaptability is its own strength.Half of the classic NaNo goal but all of the spirit. The Emerald Foxes know their rhythm and cut a cunning path. They need not take the straightforward road, simply the one that leads them to their goal.

Ruby Rams
50,000 Words
Steadfast in purpose, unyielding in pursuit.Hardy and full of resolve, the Ruby Rams do not shy away from the steep climb ahead. They embody the traditional 50,000-word goal: dogged persistence, courage, and the fiery will to climb the mountain.

Citrine Tigers
Beyond 50,000
Why stop at the peak when there are worlds beyond? The Citrine Tigers surpass the classic goal and reach further, pursuing ambitions that reach beyond the expected. 50k is not the finish line; it is the summit from which they leap forward.

Amethyst Martens
100%
Every journey is unique.Curious and resourceful, the Amethyst Martens pursue their own paths, whether their projects are brief, sprawling, or impossible to measure by wordcount alone. Their achievement is not a number, but a promise kept: the story is finished, and it is wholly their own.

Not at the moment, but if there’s interest I’ll consider it. It’s just a TrackBear leaderboard for now.I have a 3,000 word goal (or a word goal lower than 10k). Which house do I choose?
Amethyst Martens are the catch-all house, but you could also join the Kestrels if you like.I have an 18,000 word goal (or a word goal in between the other house goals). Which house do I choose?
Amethyst Martens, the catch-all house, or choose the house that is above or below your goal—up to you! (In the above example, 18k, you could choose Kestrels or Foxes.)I’m drawing my graphic novel/doing illustrations/writing poetry/finishing my school project, etc. What house do I choose?
Amethyst Martens! As for how you track it on TrackBear, that’s up to you to figure out, you creative little mustelid, you!Are we competing?
If you like! It’s a friendly competition, if anything, but mostly an encouragement to write knowing you have fellow writers with a similar goal.Do we win anything?
A feeling of accomplishment and some words you didn’t have before the month began! Are you affiliated with NaNoWriMo, NaNo 2.0, etc.?
Nope, I’m just a lil guy who likes writing and Generic Writing Months That Are Definitely NOT NaNoWriMo But Happen to Take Place in November.
